Who We Are
Two Brothers One Mission is an independent, volunteer-run fundraising project operated by two brothers. Our mission is to support humanitarian organizations providing assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine.
We are not currently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and do not represent ourselves as a tax-exempt charitable organization.
We are also not an official branch, representative, employee, or fundraising partner of the organizations we support unless we specifically state otherwise.
Our Mission
We raise funds to support humanitarian organizations working to provide assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine.
At present, we support organizations including:
- Saint Nicholas
- Mother and Child
We independently choose to support these organizations and do not claim that they endorse or sponsor Two Brothers One Mission unless we specifically state otherwise.
How Donations Work
When you donate through Two Brothers One Mission, your contribution is received through our designated fundraising/payment account and is subsequently donated to the humanitarian organizations we support.
Donor → Two Brothers One Mission → Supported humanitarian organization
Donating through Two Brothers One Mission is therefore different from donating directly to one of the organizations we support.
If you prefer to donate directly to a qualified charitable organization, you may do so through that organization's official donation channels.
0% Retained by the Organizers
Two Brothers One Mission keeps 0% of donations for ourselves.
Neither organizer receives a salary, commission, fundraising fee, or personal compensation from donations collected through this project.
Donated funds are not intended for personal expenses, personal purchases, salaries, or personal profit.
Payment-Processing Fees
Online payment providers may charge fees for processing donations.
These fees are not retained by Two Brothers One Mission.
Depending on the payment provider and payment method, donors may be offered the option to contribute an additional amount toward processing costs.
The exact fees that apply depend on the payment provider, transaction type, and applicable terms.
Tax-Deductibility
Two Brothers One Mission is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
Donations made to Two Brothers One Mission should therefore not be considered tax-deductible charitable contributions.
If you require a tax-deductible donation, please donate directly to a qualified charitable organization.
Where the Money Goes
Our goal is to direct funds raised through Two Brothers One Mission to the humanitarian organizations we support.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain records of:
- Funds raised
- Applicable payment-processing fees
- Organizations receiving donations
- Amounts donated to each organization
- Dates donations are made
- Donation receipts or other documentation when available and appropriate to share
We intend to provide periodic updates so donors can see how funds raised through our project are distributed.
Our Relationship With Supported Organizations
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Two Brothers One Mission is not an official representative, branch, employee, or fundraising partner of the organizations we support.
Our decision to donate to an organization does not mean that organization endorses Two Brothers One Mission or is responsible for our fundraising activities.
Recipient Organization Responsibility
Once funds are donated to a recipient organization, that organization is responsible for determining how those funds are used within its programs and policies.
Two Brothers One Mission does not control the operations or financial decisions of recipient organizations and cannot guarantee a particular outcome from a donation.
Payment Platforms
We may use third-party payment services, including PayPal, to facilitate online contributions.
These services operate independently from Two Brothers One Mission and have their own terms, policies, fees, verification requirements, and restrictions.
The use of a payment service does not mean that the service has certified Two Brothers One Mission as a registered nonprofit or 501(c)(3) organization.
Transparency
Transparency is a core principle of Two Brothers One Mission.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate clearly about funds raised, fees incurred, donations made, and the organizations receiving funds.
When appropriate and safe to do so, we may publish donation receipts, financial updates, and other documentation. We will not publicly disclose private donor information.
Our Commitment
Two Brothers One Mission is committed to:
- Keeping 0% of donations for ourselves
- Being honest about our organizational status
- Clearly identifying the organizations we support
- Maintaining reasonable records of funds received and distributed
- Communicating clearly about payment-processing fees
- Providing reasonable transparency about our fundraising
- Treating donations responsibly
